I love music, and what it means to everyone. Each song I do, is from my heart. I started my solo career in 2009, but have been involved some way in the entertainment industry since 1999. I had a 6 months solo spree, when joined RusHour for 7 years. Moved to Pretoria and had a solo career for the next 5 years before moving to Sedgefield and continued my solo career. Every show I do, is a break away from real life, a break from the everyday battles. Fun, emotional, happy and entertaining.
I was born with an unquenchable passion for music. At the age of 12 I taught myself how to play the guitar and from there I joined our church youth band and played for four years until I relocated to Mosselbay. My entertainment career started at the age of 16 where I performed at various Forever resorts around the country.
2008 was a very special year for me as I wrote my very first song titled Baby se Brief , followed by Path of Love. I recorded my first 14 track CD in 2011 and a few of the songs from my first CD can be heard on radio, such as Sweet Lips, Grassade (as made famous by Dozi, originally composed by Stef Kruger), So Is Jy Vir My, Ek Verlang Na Dit & Lielatjie.
I have also been privileged to have had Stef Kruger write a few songs for me such as Grassade, Punt & Gerugte which were chosen to debut on my first album. I won royalties to 52 songs written by Stef during a Southern Cape song writing contest, hosted by the legend himself
I have been invited by many well-known South African artists to be the opening act at their performances, these artists include: Steve Hofmeyer, Kurt Darren, Chris Chameleon, Pieter Koen, Jakkie Louw, Emo Adams, The Campbells and many more. Other performances include: ABSA KKNK, Whale fest, Serengeti festival, Baobab festival, Tobie festival, Kraaki mossel festival and Dias festival to name a few. Jakkie Louw launched a competition where he toured the coast and gave local singers the opportunity to compete for the opening spot at each of his shows. I won the opening rights to the George performance.
I took a break from my music career due to personal reasons and I started making my way back to following my dream in 2018 after a five-year pause. During 2018 and 2019 I performed part-time and in 2020 when lockdown struck, I decided to focus solely on my music career. I currently have regular venues that I perform at and the music I play varies from golden oldies to the hits of today as well as my own songs. I am busy recording my second CD and it is quite a leap from my first one in terms of genre, and I am having an amazing time growing and expanding.

While studying he not only learned to play the sliding trombone but also improved his piano and vocal skills.
He currently performs solo but also enjoys sharing the stage with other artists. Not only has he performed with names such as:
Rea le Roux, Anton Oosthuizen, Janine Fourie, and Tanja Storm, but also Brighette Deister, Micheal Lindt, Pieter Mohr, Maritza and Rhino-and-Rasta. This however is not where it ends, he has also had the experience of performing with bands such as : All In, Plofstof, Liquid State and the Acoustic Rebels.

Etienne Steyn is a South African singer and songwriter who mostly sings in Afrikaans. He spent a large amount of his life growing up in George in the Western Cape province of South Africa. In 2005, Steyn recorded his debut album "Storie van my Hart".
Etienne's music career started off when his father gave him an old guitar while he was in grade 8. Etienne never stopped making music after this. He formed his first "Hard Metal Rock" group Denizen, in 1995 and participated that year in "Battle of the Bands" in Stellenbosch, and also at Woodstock in Oudtshoorn. Etienne writes his own songs, and has since the beginning.[citation needed]
The very successful rock group Goose Gap was founded in 2000. Etienne's peak with this group was their popular song Sugar Me Up Lollipo, which became a hit in South Africa. During this time he also played with groups such as Not My Dog, Wonderboom, Springbok Nude Girls and Prime Circle. In February and March 2004, Etienne was the lead singer for the band Cutting Jade when they went on a nationwide tour, because their previous singer had left the group.
In December 2001 Etienne moved to Pretoria, and pursued music as his full-time career, and in January 2002 he worked for a year at David Gresham Records.
This versatile singing sensation is known for his soothing raspy voice and energetic stage presence and keeps audiences entertained with a wide variety of music.
His debut single, Sterrekaart was released in 2018 and was very well received by listeners and radio stations across the country. This upbeat hit, written by Anton Botha, boasts a beautiful music video by Renier Henning Musiek which featured on kykNET NOW and is currently available on YouTube.
The single also won a WCU award at the Afri-Indie Independent Music Awards on 28 April 2021 at Platteland in Centurion.
His other original songs, Ek Staan Nog and Net Soos In ’n Sprokie, were equally well received and can still be heard on the radio.

My sangloopbaan het as klein dogtertjie begin. Ek was een dag saam met my ouers by‘n konsert van Francois Heyns. See less

Haar volgende langspeler, 'Love will find a way' word vir 'n Scotty -toekenning benoem.
We would describe ourselves as an old school rack and roll folk band. Blindy faithful in the same fate that led them to Takhaar
